ÓAndre is a great young man,Ô said Southfield-Lathrup head coach Stephon Thompson. ÓAndre (Jr.) is just an outstanding human being. HeÒs always trying to make himself better and his concentration and attention to detail are incredible. ÓAndre does everything to perfection and heÒs very level headed. I coached Larry Foote here and he of course went to Michigan and now heÒs in the NFL. Larry came to one of our practices and said that Andre is a special player.Ô Andre Rison and his son, Andre Jr. are very close and his father doesnÒt miss a game. ÓMr. Rison is very supportive of his son,Ô Coach Thompson said. ÓHe has even helped me out with my wide receivers and defensive backs. You can tell heÒs been around some of the brightest minds in the game. ÓAndre is also very tight with his mother. She is his heart. SheÒs the engine that makes everything run if you know what I mean.Ô What makes Andre Rison Jr. a D-1 wide receiver? ÓAndre does stuff that canÒt be taught.
